Karen is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with more than fifteen years experience in event and meeting management, working in both the private and public sectors. She hits the ground running, whether planning international legal meetings in Mumbai and Morocco or preparing a last-minute product launch at HIMSS. Before Liftoff, Karen spent eight years at Microsoft as a senior event manager for the Microsoft Partner Events Program.
Karen is a native New Yorker who finds herself living in Patriot Nation, which is unfortunate for a Jets fan. A married mother with two boys, Karen’s “leisure time” is spent running her kids around to sporting events. The summer makes up for it— she spends July and August working from Cape Cod, where she enjoys hosting friends and family every weekend.
Karen knows the devil is in the details. She is meticulously organized and proactive as she helps our clients make the most of their special events and conferences.
