Shelly is a licensed US attorney with more than twenty years’ experience. She advises Liftoff’s legal clients on marketing to in-house counsel, and she has been integral in expanding the membership base of Ally Law, a legal network and Liftoff client. After graduating from George Washington University Law School, Shelly began her career working for a large Midwestern law firm where she represented corporate clients in state and federal courts in multi-district litigation. In 2004, she was recruited to a boutique litigation firm to head their class action practice. She achieved partner status in both firms.Shelly then spent six years based in India, where she served in senior management positions overseeing litigation and compliance for two multinational corporations.
Even international litigators need downtime, and when she’s not working, Shelly loves traveling to historic colonial villages across Latin America, the Middle East, and the Far East to collect indigenous textiles and art.
